Talks of US states department cancelling the sale of assault rifles to the Philippines due to a US Senator have left the netizens ablaze in debate of which is better the AK 47 from Russia or its counterpart the latest of M16 assault rifles from US or its latest models of both.
But here we forgot we have our own World Class Assualt Rifle proudly Filipino made and of the latest technology in par with the above mentioned old low tech assault rifles.  Introducing UDMC PVAR Assault Rifles made by all Filipino United Defense Manufacturing Corporation (UDMC)

So Why not we source it out Locally and open more Jobs in the Gun Manufacturing Industry for Filipinos. Some time ago PNP Chief Bato DelaRosa visited a gun show featuring UDMC products. Although that didnt gain much attention but these news of US cancellation of sale actually opened great opportunity and its high time we patronized our own products. Filipinos are known as world class gun makers and in fact we are exporting locally custom made pistols which are well respected abroad.

UDMC Displays Variety of Assault Rifles

"UDMC PVAR rifle uses the Pneumatic Valve and Rod system, which was created as a more reliable design than the traditional direct gas impingement system of the AR-15 family. The primary problems of the traditional Direct Gas Impingement system was its extreme heat as well as carbon deposits in the bolt assembly and bolt carrier group. Another problem was that of excessive recoil and muzzle rise.

These problems were fixed by the PVAR rifle's system. Where in the Direct Gas Impingement System pressurized gas is used throughout the operating cycle, the UDMC PVAR System utilizes instead mechanical energy for more effective and more reliable cycling.
The UDMC PVAR System prevents much heat, carbon build-up, un-burned powder, and dirt from being deposited inside the bolt assembly and the bolt carrier group, resulting in cleaner and cooler operation, less downtime for cleaning and repair, and considerably longer life span of the rifle. It can fire underwater and even accept successfully drum magazines." (ref)
